A b-side to 1986 debut single The Trumpton Riots, Half Man Half Biscuit’s All I Want For Christmas Is A Dukla Prague Away Kit refers to AC Dukla Praha, a football club who currently play in the Czech second division.
phespirit.info has got plenty of information regarding the track, including - bizarrely - a piece from the Daily Mail about the shirt, so rather than regurgitate it here, take a trip over.
Dukla Praha play at the Na Julisce Stadion, the capacity of which varies between 18,000 and 28,800 depending on which websites you read. In fact, the results of a Google search seem to yield as many results about the song rather than the football team itself, so if any Czech speaking readers can find out anything of interest on the club’s official website, then let us know. We have found a website that’ll sell us a Dukla Prague away kit, though - The Old Fashioned Football Shirt Company have some in stock, so click the link, search for “Dukla” and order one for £34.99.
Of course, the location we’ve mapped is Dukla Prague’s home ground. Naturally, the away kit is more likely to be worn at the stadiums of the 15 other Druhá liga teams. If you’re really interested in such venues, then the Football Grounds application on Facebook might be of more use to you.
You can find All I Want For Christmas Is A Dukla Prague Away Kit on the Back In The D.H.H.S./The Trumpton Riots EP, available from Amazon, or you can watch it here. For free.

I believe that they don’t actually play in Prague any more, is that right?
